This is a horrible When I plugged it into my home was called huge power surges and it is an enormous pain to try to deal with the customer service and get They wont even offer me a credit they just want to replace the product. It takes weeks and weeks to get anything. I will never buy anything from LG ever again and I own a refrigerator and a TV which I will replace as soon as I can.

The Microwave was only a little over a year old when the magnatron went. It has a supposed 10 year warranty but the customer support person said the labor was more than a new unit so just throw it away and buy a new one. You might as well have no warranty if you are going to charge more labor than the unit is worth. They warranty is useless and I will not buy another LG

Poor quality. Ours is two years old and the button to open the door broke off. Its made of very cheap small plastic clips holding it. You dont have to be a mechanical engineer to see that it is another product made for the landfill. LG was supposed to be rescuing their reputation but I guess not.

Dont expect to last more than 2 years

Replaced this model for the third time in 4.5 years. Looks nice decent price but only expect it to work for 2 years max. Computer keypad door handle and heating function all start to slowly break. Even if the part is covered the cost of a tech to fix outweighs purchasing a new one. Ive only repurchased a third time as we already cut the cabinet to fit this model and dont want to deal with having to make modifications at this time. Not to mention we bought all LG and want to keep the same model for consistency. Will probably stay away from LG in future as other appliances all started to fail within 3 years under a normal 4 person household use.

Dont buy this microwave for the bright light.....

You can use it as a microwave if you dont mind not being able to see what youre heating. The highly touted bright LED interior light just quit after nine months and I am STILL working with LG to get someone to change the inaccessible light bulb. After escalation LG has been very communicative but as far as actually getting the bulb change accomplished they has so far fallen short. They could have sent me a new unit in a few days but so far its been five weeks and counting since I first reached out to customer service. I think managements heart is in the right place but they need to do better.

Put this in our new home and it died before the year warranty was up. Currently now battling with LG to have someone come and replace it under our warranty. Pretty inconvient to be without a microwave in a brand new home with 2 young kids. Going on two weeks since we put in our service request to LG and I have yet to hear from anyone about coming to look at our non functioning microwave. Maybe by 2025 we will have it replaced

This is the 2nd microwave weve bought - pretty much the same model. It works easy and weve been happy with it. The only down side is it only lasted 6 years not 10 like the converter is rated. That being said its a good unit and a decent price. My friend commented hadnt really thought about it on how nice it sounds going off - it does.

I purchased this microwave and had problems with the cook time taking longer after about 6 months of use. I checked the operation through the LG ThinQ diagnostics and no problems were identified. Problem continued to get worse with longer and longer cook time - still no fault found using LG ThinQ. Unit eventually stopped heating just after the 1 year warranty period expired. I checked the Magnetron and found it to be faulty reviewed my diagnosis with the LG representative who agreed to process my paperwork for a new Magnetron 10 yr warranty. My warranty claim was then rejected by another LG representative because I do not have a repair technician license number. To have an authorized repair technician perform the same diagnosis it will cost more than the microwave is worth. I am disappointed with the LG quality of this microwave and do not recommend purchasing one.

I purchased this product and it stopped working. It does not heat up the food anymore. I called for service for the alleged Magnetron that LG said was the problem. They referred me to a repair shop who charged me $147.00 to come to my house there are no walk ins only to tell me it was the inverter and it would cost over 400.00 to fix. The micro purchased cost $215.00. I called LG multiple times as I have barely used the micro. They were very apathetic and said it was out of warrantee. I went ahead and purchased an inverter and the piece of junk still doesnt work. Never again will I purchase an LG Lifes good for LG because they have our money Ps...I have a refrigerator from them that the whole compressor system needed to be replaced because it kept freezing up They do not stand behind their products. Never again Just a warning my friends.

It is working great I really love that the settings for various heating defrost cooking and reheat are listed right on the microwave when you open the door. No looking back at the manual when you have something you havent done in a while. The gray inside is also very impressive. Its like looking into a stressless room. I purchased this microwave from Home Depot. Home Depot says I am beyond their return date however the microwave is still on the manufactures warranty. Yes it still functions as it should but it now rumbles and rattles and sounds like a metal garbage can being drug down the road. Terrible. I guess I need to hope it dies before the warranty is up.

Very nice micro. Very quiet and easy to operate. Just wish the light inside was brighter when the door is open. Also would have liked a way to simply push the 1 for automatically cook for 1 minute. I could do that up to a six minute option on my former micro. Not a big deal but a nice convenience.

Worked well while it worked. Purchased my home in 2020. All the kitchen appliances were new including the LG LMC2075ST. No complaints until few weeks ago. It stopped working. We thought it was a tripped breaker. Flipped the breaker and power was restored to the microwave temporarily. The moment you hit start it shorts out and trips the breaker again. Replaced the breaker still happened. Plugged microwave into another outlet. Still shorts out. Disappointed that this LG product has a shelf life of about 3 years. Now looking to have to replace.

I purchased my microwave august 2022 and last week it just stopped working. Of course now its out of warranty. Have had electrician check breaker and plug and all getting power. So disappointed since it was recommended by several people. Im hoping you might have insight as to why it would have stopped working. And with service call and possibly parts its hardly work fixing.

Nice appearance but annoying musical tune

Likes: sleek simple appearance - really looks nice. Good price. Works great. Dislikes: Plays a fairly long tune rather than a simple beep every time heating or timing is done. I use the microwave several times a day and hearing that tune over and over and over multiple times a day is driving me crazy - especially when the tune gets stuck in my head. Please come up with a way for customers to de-program the tune and go back to a short simple beep

Our 3 year old microwave from another manufacturer stopped working so we got this LG microwave and I cant believe how well it works Its simple to use cooks everything evenly and quickly. I really love the turn table under the glass the glass never jumps off the turn table that was a problem with the other microwave. I hope this microwave lasts for at least 10 years. I recommend this microwave to anyone who is shopping for a new one.

Looks nice cooks fairly well I like the extra room to put big plates inside. I must say the door hinge and the push button to open the door are not made of quality product it lasted about 3 months before it started coming loose bye the 4 month the button had came out of its socket the spring is not centered in the middle and it doesnt have bracket holding the push button in place so with out the button the door doesnt stay shut doesnt lock the door so you can press start on the control panel to make it operate no button cant make it start

Broke in less than 2 years. Disappointing warranty

This microwave was installed less than two years ago and the button that opens the door is already broken. The front of the microwave has a label about a 10-year warranty so we called hoping for support. We were told that the warranty only covers the inverter. Long story short... the product didnt last and we were unhappy to find that the warranty heralded on the face of the unit only applies to one part. We bought all new LG appliances for a kitchen remodel and hope the rest of the products are better.
