Whirlpool Buy More Save More Delivery and Installation Allowance

Offer Expires: 9/23/2026 to 10/31/2026 Must be postmarked by: 1/31/2027

Enjoy exclusive rebate savings with purchase of qualifying Whirlpool appliances. Rebate form must be postmarked by 1/31/2027.

Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

The Dryer Failed on Day One, never worked!

LNorland 8/9/2026

I had sworn off buying Whirlpool appliances based on the last several purchases, but as a former Whirlpool employee I still have access to Inside Pass pricing, and I decided to give the company another chance. I purchased a Whirlpool WGF5727TW laundry tower for one of our short-term rental properties. On paper, this product looked like a home run. The condo has limited space, so we need a stacked washer and dryer™€"but we also need full-size capacity. Our cleaners need to be able to load a large batch of sheets and towels, start the machine, and move on to the next property. Traditional compact laundry centers simply don't have the capacity we need. This Whirlpool appeared to solve that problem perfectly: full-size washer and dryer capacity in a stacked footprint. Unfortunately, what looked like a home run turned into a strikeout before the first load of laundry was dry. The brand-new dryer didn't heat. There is also a completely separate problem with the product itself: the user interface is surprisingly poor. Stopping or canceling a cycle is unnecessarily difficult and unintuitive. Even something as basic as the power button provides little to no immediate audible or visual feedback that it has actually registered the input, followed by a delay before the machine responds. That leaves you wondering: Did I press it? Did it register? Should I press it again? For an appliance people interact with constantly™€"and especially one being used by guests and cleaning crews™€"that's simply bad user-interface design. Basic controls like Power, Start and Cancel should provide immediate, unmistakable feedback that the user's input has been received, even if the appliance itself requires a few seconds before it can execute the command. Ironically, even if our dryer had worked perfectly, the user experience would still have left me disappointed. But products occasionally fail. That's manufacturing. What has been far more disappointing is discovering just how badly Whirlpool's customer service and delivery experience have deteriorated. Over the past two weeks, I have spent hours trying to resolve problems with Whirlpool. Individual calls routinely take 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. I've used the callback feature multiple times only to never receive a callback. Getting someone who can actually take ownership of a problem seems nearly impossible. The delivery experience was equally astonishing. Whirlpool gives customers an enormous 8 AM™€“6 PM delivery window, yet on our first delivery I received a call at 7:51 AM saying they were coming. They arrived at 7:58 AM. Seven minutes' notice. That delivery failed because the wrong product was sent. Whirlpool rescheduled for the following day. We coordinated with our Airbnb guests based on Whirlpool's stated 4™€“6 PM delivery window. Later we were given an estimated arrival of approximately 4:45 PM. They arrived at 5:55 PM. Our guests, including their children, had already stayed out of the house for more than four hours to accommodate the installation. The installers connected the brand-new unit™€"and the dryer didn't produce heat. To be fair, I don't blame the third-party installers. They were doing their best. They were working late and well beyond the hours they had expected to be working. They attempted to figure out what was wrong, but they are installers™€"not appliance technicians™€"and they weren't equipped to diagnose or repair a brand-new dryer that wasn't functioning properly. That's actually part of the problem. Whirlpool's system left those installers standing in a customer's home late in the evening with a defective new appliance and no practical way to resolve the problem. They shouldn't have been put in that position any more than we or our guests should have been. By approximately 8 PM, our guests just wanted to get their kids ready for bed. After rearranging their evening for Whirlpool, they returned to a newly installed washer/dryer whose dryer still didn't work. For a homeowner, that's frustrating. For a short-term rental owner, it costs real money. When laundry equipment is unavailable, our cleaners charge additional money to take sheets and towels to a laundromat. Guests reasonably expect compensation when an advertised amenity isn't available. They also expect compensation when their stay is disrupted by delivery, installation and service appointments. And these problems have a way of cascading. During the installation we had to temporarily shut off the gas to the condo because we couldn't locate a dedicated shutoff for the appliance. That extinguished the pilot light on the water heater™€"something I had mistakenly assumed would automatically relight™€"and resulted in yet another guest complaint when they discovered they didn't have hot water. That's obviously not Whirlpool's fault by itself, but it illustrates the real-world consequences of repeated deliveries, installations and service calls in an occupied short-term rental. This problem has now affected three different sets of guests, and without a quick resolution it could easily affect a fourth or even a fifth. When you've worked hard to maintain a five-star rating, the cost of a badly handled appliance problem can quickly become far greater than the price of the appliance. The irony is that I was going to buy the comparable LG. Whirlpool could supposedly deliver three days earlier, which certainly influenced my decision. But if I'm being truthful, there was another reason I chose Whirlpool. Deep down, I still want to support Whirlpool. I spent part of my career there. Whirlpool is part of this community. Friends and former colleagues still work there, and I genuinely want the company to be successful. Even after swearing off Whirlpool appliances, there was a part of me that wanted to give the hometown company another chance. I should have bought the LG. After reading the other early reviews of this product, I'm even more concerned. Multiple owners are reporting washer or dryer failures within the first several weeks, followed by long waits for warranty service, unsuccessful repairs and additional costs. Unfortunately, my experience doesn't appear to be an isolated incident. For a short-term rental owner, that changes the entire purchasing equation. My biggest mistake may not have been choosing Whirlpool over LG. It may have been focusing on which appliance to buy instead of who I was buying it from. If you operate a short-term rental, my advice after this experience is simple: Buy critical appliances from a retailer or local appliance dealer that has the ability to quickly replace a defective product or provide service when something goes wrong. Saving a few hundred dollars on the initial purchase means very little when you're waiting days or weeks for warranty service while cleaners are taking linens to a laundromat, guests are being inconvenienced, and you're compensating people for an amenity that isn't available. For a rental property, service availability isn't an extra feature. It's part of the price of the appliance. Here we are several days beyond the original promised delivery date, with a brand-new dryer that still doesn't work, hundreds of dollars in associated costs, multiple disrupted guests, and hours spent trying to reach someone capable of resolving the problem. What makes this particularly disappointing is that I remember a different Whirlpool. There was a time when, even if a product had a problem, I could defend the company by saying Whirlpool stood behind it with strong service. I can't say that anymore. The Whirlpool call center is literally only a couple of miles from where I live, yet getting meaningful help from the company feels nearly impossible. Products occasionally fail. That's manufacturing. What defines a company is what happens next. In my experience, Whirlpool has allowed what should have been a relatively simple appliance problem to become an expensive, multi-day customer-service disaster through poor communication, unreliable scheduling, inadequate installation support, and a customer-service system seemingly incapable of taking ownership of a problem. As a former employee, that's difficult to watch. I'm not someone rooting against Whirlpool. Quite the opposite. I genuinely want Whirlpool to succeed™€"for its employees, for its shareholders, and for the community that has supported the company for generations. But loyalty to a company and a community can only carry a customer so far when the customer experience repeatedly gives them reasons to buy from someone else. It's a shame how far Whirlpool has fallen. And after this experience, unfortunately, I understand a little better why both consumers and the market are struggling to see the value in the company.
