Three years ago we bought a GE washer based on reviews. The model was new and there were no time tested results. It had all the bells and whistles anyone could ever need. After 1.5 years the control board went out at a material replacement price of $270. 1.5 years later the same thing happened again. Each time different codes drew the same conclusion. Do we keep dumping money in this thing? No! I was determined to find a simple solution for a simple problem. Replace it with something ultimately time tested and reliable. A friend mentioned Speed Queen "… you know, like in the commercial laundromats. My parents gave had theirs for 20 years!" After a deep dive I discovered a local appliance store's sale. So here it is the heavy duty powerful quiet commercial top loading answers with the best warranty on the market. Best of all is no computer to fail; just good old fashioned analog switching. No bells and whistles but no smoke and mirrors either.

Speed queen is the only product made in America and schedule to last more than five years. Our washer and dryer came with a five year warrantee, has simple controls, and are easy to use. The steam refresh and sanitize cycles for the dryers are awesome. I did my research before I bought them and the serviceman who came out told me there is no comparison to other brands, I completely agree.

I bought the washer and dryer, I am disappointed in the fact that the washer looks like a second hand machine. I bought a top loading washer and the door is misshapen. I contacted Golds appliances and the boss said put some clothes on it you will never notice. I sent all of the information to your customer service and have been ignored.. This was almost a 3,000 dollar purchase and my old appliances looked better. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about my experience

Smaller than my last washer by Electrolux but I am hoping it lasts longer than the 11 years from Electrolux. I wanted to get away from the front loader so I wouldn't have to keep the door open all the time and this fits that. I like that it was a bit shorter on width so the washer, dryer, and laundry sorter fit perfectly in my small laundry room.

We went with the previous generation, which is a bit louder due to the agitation level, and we were happy to have that, given the work clothes that may contain fiberglass from work. We didn't find it to be too loud in the end and couldn't be happier with our purchase. Reviewers of washers and dryers claimed that Speed Queen is the "cadillac" of these machines and if one could afford them, they're worth it. Decided to go with the best and avoid repair headaches. So far, so great! The dryer comes with a pet hair removal feature and wow, it works like magic. I had black dog hair all over my white hoodie and decided to give it a try and was astounded that it worked! I love the features that come with this model for both the washer and dryer. They absolutely lived up to the hype and were worth the investment. Our clothes have never been cleaner. They look brighter, too! I highly recommend this model and Speed Queen!
