I like the versatility this cook top offers. The variable cooking surfaces fit any pot or pan size. I was disappointed the grill top accessory did not come with this appliance and have been unable to order it from Maytag since July. Always out of stock and no way to order to have shipped when available. I must continuously check the website.. not eta offered when replenished. I am beginning to think this offer is BS.

How About That Bonus Griddle???

Neutral is all I can give at the moment. This product was to come with a griddle. I should have read the reviews before expecting this to be true. The cooktop remained in a box until installation, for 45 days after purchase. My first attempt to get the griddle was denied by Maytag, they said I had to claim it within 30 days. Nothing on anything indicated this timeframe. I figured it was a wash, but after installation I called to register it and got into a conversation on the griddle. Apologies were made and I was told I would receive it when it was back in stock which could be several months. Months later was not an issue for me. However, 2 days later I get an email with a link to order the griddle for free, the email said I had 48 hours. I went online but I could not put the item into the cart because it was on backorder. I considered it a complete wash, I did not make the purchase for the griddle anyway. Frustrated though, it is a lose, lose, lose situation. Don't expect Maytag to honor any bonus items. I have several Maytag products, but this poor experience will have me comparing other appliances as we continue furnishing for our new house. Lowes has been champs working with me, I talked to my salesman today and he will followup with his Maytag rep.

The cooktop itself is amazing, 5 stars. Easy to clean, easy to use, not a single complaint about the appliance itself. However, one of the reasons why we chose to go with this specific cooktop, with this specific company, is because of the free griddle that was advertised as "included." Open up the box, no griddle, but a paper to register our cooktop, and get a free griddle sent to us. Great, we registered, got a separate link sent to us with a specific promo code, and we're brought to the griddle page which is of course, temporarily out of stock. No problem, theres a button to be notified when the griddle comes back in stock. Surprise, it never, ever, comes back in stock. Every review on that griddle page (1.3 stars btw) is someone doing exactly what Im doing now, talking about this griddle that is just advertised for looks but never actually comes in stock. To clear things up a bit, we ordered this cooktop in December, I'm writing this review the following July, and there were reviews on the griddle page that were over 9 months old talking about this issue. Maytag customer support is absolutely no help to anyone, and even though our cooktop works great, I will never be buying something from this company again.

Dude, where's my griddle?

Hard to review a product you never got! The grill of "with Reversible Grill and Griddle" fame was not included in the delivery. Instead there was a piece of paper telling me to register so I could receive the grill that I already paid for. I did register, and months later, nothing. Follow up emails ignored, it is pretty lousy. Cooktop works great. It's like buying a car, but when the car arrives, you are told you need to separately register for the wheels and then the wheels never come.

I bought it for the griddle only to find out that they will send it once the product is registered. I did as stated and still never received the griddle. Also it can be damaged easily. Avoid any spills while cooking. Even after cleaning the stain is still there. Looks whitish and embedded.

this review reflects more on a deceptive business practice, rather than the actual cooktop. While the cooktop performs as intended, the price we paid included a Reversible Grill & Griddle. It did not come with the cooktop. However, there were instructions to register our product so it would be sent to us. THERE IS NO GRIDDLE AND NO RESPONSE FROM THE SUPPLIER!!!!! Not only did we register our product, we also contacted them on their website to request the Griddle. There was no email, no acknowledgment, no response - and of course: NO GRIDDLE. For this reason I feel we overpaid by at least $120.00 (the value of their griddle). You may be able to purchase a similar cooktop with comparable features from other suppliers at a better price, I would suggest to compare carefully with this in mind. I feel we were deceived and ignored.

Bought this to replace a cracked, but working just fine cooktop. My only expectation was that it would not be cracked. I did not expect to be blown away by the quickness and evenness of cooking! The knobs are so clearly labeled, making heat choice easy. I expected to be happy with the purchase...I did not expect to be so thrilled with this cooktop.

Problems with customer care reflected in ratings

In regards to the cooktop we purchased, we are satisfied with the appliance. It is hard to keep clean, and we plan to investigate more cleaning solutions to find one that works. It has only been two+ months of using the cooktop, and we have yet to receive the anticipated griddle which will be a good asset. Hopefully the countless customer care problems experienced in requesting the griddle do not reflect the standards of Maytag. I also have a bias against companies that use foreign call centers to solve/address their customer's problems. My numerous efforts to acquire a griddle have affected the ratings I have given them; Maytag could do a lot better for their customers.

Grill & Griddle Not Included at time of Purchase

I bought this cooktop because of the reversible grill & griddle feature. However, the grill/griddle wasn't in the box with the cooktop. You have to register your cooktop with Maytag online, & then press the "Redeem Now" button to "redeem your accessory." The fact that the grill/griddle wasn't included in the box should be provided in advance, not after purchase. I didn't find this out until the installation. So I paid for part of the cooktop that I don't have. When I did attempt to redeem it, it said "Temporarily Out of Stock" & that I would be sent an email when it was available. The company also didn't provide any information regarding when it would be available. The customer should know that the grill/griddle isn't present before purchasing the product. I paid for a feature I don't have, & don't know when I will have it.

Did not come with the Griddle. Other reviews have stated the same. I™€™ve tried calling and emailing Maytag directly with no luck. Stayed on hold for half an hour all to get put on a ™€œcallback™€ wait list to never receive a call back. Grill/griddle paid for not furnished.

I purchased this electric cooktop with reversible grill and griddle from Boones Appliances. Cooktop and griddle was paid for and installed, but no griddle furnished that was paid for. Getting the runaround from Boone Appliances as to where the griddle is. Your help is needed as to answering the question where the griddle is that I paid for. Your immediate attention in this matter is appreciated.

I purchased the this cooktop about a month ago. Looks really nice, works well, and easy to install. This cooktop was a replacement for an older exposed coil cooktop. I am pleased with the purchase but a couple of things that are not so desirable is that it is difficult to keep clean. I am also not pleased that the Reversible Grill is not in the original package delivered, it is expected to come a couple months later. I just hope it arrives. The rating may change to a 1 if the Reversible Grill doesn't arrive.

I bought this 2 months ago and it is great! I thought I needed 5 burners, but decided to go with your unit and 4 eyes and it handles what I have just fine. The price was reasonable, and Maytag has an excellent reputation and is living up to it.

We purchased cooktop 9-26-25 at Boone Maytag. After Boone installed cooktop, he advise that we must register cooktop and ask that griddle be shipped to us. Please advise when griddle will be shipped, as it is included in price.

I™€™ve only had my cooktop for one week but I™€™m very pleased with it thus far. The only drawback is the griddle does not come with the appliance. It will be shipped separately after registering the appliance. I registered the cooktop online and was supposed to receive an email with instructions on how to get my free griddle. I have not received any information yet 😞 .

We used electric stove top with no problems. Happy with professional installation by Dan Boone. We purchased stove top with griddle included in price. Dan advised that we needed to register stove top and that would be sufficient to receive griddle and it would be shipped to us. Your website did not include anything regarding griddle which was to be shipped to us at no charge. Please ship to us directly.

Didn™€™t receive the Griddle!!

Very disappointed we received the range top without the griddle. And good luck trying to get it. We ordered it from Lowe™€™s to be delivered and they told us to call the manufacturer to get the part. Maytag/Whirlpool is backed up for ™€œtraining™€ purposes. What a pain in the neck. Very disappointed. But the range is nice, so I gave it a 3 star.
