BUYER BEWARE - AVOID THIS PRODUCT

Microwave was professionally installed in February of 2025 and rendered useless in April 2026. Internal porcelain was damaged through normal use to the point where we nearly had a fire in the kitchen due to metal being exposed within the unit. Of course, the warranty ran out in February of 2026 and GE only offered to reimburse us for a tech to come out and diagnose that the microwave was damaged and refused to replace the unit. GE clearly only expects this microwave to only last one year. Please consider other models.

Great microwave! Only issue is that the buttons are very sensitive so since it is a drawer microwave, when you are standing in front of it, it is easy for the buttons to be unintentionally pressed.

I am not thrilled with this appliance. The sensor cook and reheat functions overheat and overcook on every setting. There are not enough options for reheating different types of foods. There are not enough options for melting or softening. You cannot melt or soften anything under 1/2 a stick of butter or 4 oz. of chocolate. It is attractive.

There is a random beeping that I am unable to identify or stop. The drawer at times doesn™™t stay open. I need to physically hold/stop the drawer from immediately closing.

Overpriced and low quality

So far, this is an overpriced and horrible product. Almost every time I open it it squeaks, especially after I put something in the microwave that ends up, causing some steam. I go to collect food out of the microwave and the door just closes automatically on me at times. It™™s like it has a mind of its own. If I had it to do over again, I would never buy this product

This thing is a beast. It™™s larger than expected but that™™s fine because it holds huge dishes. It makes life so much easier to be able to put things down into a microwave that is mounted in an island rather than upward into a microwave that™™s placed at counter height or above. The buttons are responsive and not too noisy. The finish is perfect for my kitchen. Delivery was prompt and they even took away my old unit. Would suggest for anyone looking to upgrade.

Major design flaw

Nice microwave, but it has a major design flaw. It's designed to be a drawer (as in below the countertop). This means the controls are at waist level, making them extremely difficult to read/use. You have to lean all the way over to read/use the controls. They should have the controls tilt up to make them useable.

Using it is a breeze, thanks to the easy electronic touch controls and the handy sensor cooking feature that adjusts everything for me. I can quickly add 30 seconds if I need more time, and the control lock gives me peace of mind with kids around. With 1,000 watts of power, it heats my food evenly and quickly. This microwave had issues from day 1.

This is junk! It had issues with opening/door getting stuck from day 1. Tech support came to the house 2 times and were not able to resolve the issue. Now scheduled them to come back 3rd time but suspect they will not be able to resolve this issue. Period. Need to buy replacement.It was kind of expansive science project.

I was sent this product from Influenster and General Electric in exchange for my honest review. I've been putting this microwave through its paces for a month now and I genuinely couldn't love it more! This microwave has so many features, it's incredible. Installation was really easy. It glides in and out of the drawer space so smoothly. The food always comes out properly and evenly cooked. I'm a HUGE fan of the Mute option! Keeps from making noise when having a late-night snack (lol). The sensor options work perfectly. I love the simple screen display. Not to mention, it's a stunning microwave! It matches the rest of my stainless steel appliances perfectly. This microwave is, without a doubt, a top tier appliance! I VERY highly recommend it!

Pretty and Practical!

Let me start off by saying, "I am short!" I already have a GE profile microwave oven above our second GE oven. I can't reach all the way in to clean the back! This GE Profile drawer oven door solves that problem for me. Pros for me are the convenience, the ease of fitting items in, and the look! My absolute favorite part is the touch button to open/ close feature. It glides so smoothly and closes much quieter than my other microwave. I am an avid cook and have 2 ovens and a microwave/ oven combo- this drawer completes my appliances! The microwave oven works so well and it just makes sense! At first, I found it odd that it didn't spin the food but with this technology it's not needed. Everything we've tried has come out evenly heated. It's got all the bells and whistles you expect including sensor cook and reheat, add 30 seconds, and a control lock feature. This has been a great addition to our kitchen!

It goes inside the cabinets, which might need some adjustments to fit. It has less space inside compared to regular countertop microwaves. It works well for most daily cooking but might not fit bigger dishes. The noise level can vary depending on what we are cooking. It has a modern, sleek look that fits well in contemporary kitchens. The drawer opens with a push, which is easy to use and stylish. It™™s designed to use energy efficiently, with features that adjust power based on what we are cooking. I recently received the GE Profile Microwave Drawer Oven, and I couldn™™t be happier with it. It looks so great in my kitchen and matches my other stainless appliances perfectly.. The drawer design is sleek and super convenient, allowing for easy access without bending over or reaching high. We love the pull out drawer style design. It's perfect for my wife who is shorter and has difficulty with a traditional microwave. She absolutely loves it. Another nice feature is that the drawer itself slides in and out with a push of a button. The buttons and controls on the main display are simple to use and straight forward. It has all the programs you will need, along with a button for adding additional time if needed. I personally use this feature daily. The microwave performs flawlessly and I see no issues with temperature. The GE Profile Microwave Drawer Oven does everything we will ever need it to do and looks beautiful doing so. We have already received a couple compliments on it from friends and family. I highly recommend it.

OMG I am in love with this drawer microwave!!! It looks so beautiful, elegant and luxurious in stainless steel color, which matches all my other appliances as well as the color of my cabinet! We have not yet installed it to our cabinet yet but by looking at the instructions and how our cabinet set up, it seems super easy and quick to install. It is quite large so can accomodates large plates easily. The thing that I like is that it™™s easy to open and close, you just need to press the open or close button. It has a wide range of cooking options for you to choose, and especially the Sensor cook and heat to adjust the time and power so you don™™t have to worry about your foods are burned by the time you open the microwave. It looks so beautiful in my kitchen, replacing my over the range microwave, which is so inconvenient for me because I am short LOL.
