Failed 3 months after warranty expired

Just tree months after warranty expired, the oven will not heat up anymore. Amazing how GE timed their product to fail soon after warranty.
Update 2/10:
GE Appliances reached out to me and offered free repair via Bodewell Service. The repair completed as scheduled (igniter replacement). They're excellent in this regard. Hence, I've updated my rating.

Purchased April 2025. This is December 2025. We have an internal thermometer that we purchased to check the oven is at the correct temp. When preheating, the oven suddenly wouldn't turn off. St it to 350 and when I returned to check that it was preheated to 350, the oven was still running and at 550 degrees. Gas wouldn't shut off by itself. I had to manually turn it off to get the oven to quit heating. VERY DANGEROUS. I've contacted support to get it fixed, and if this isn't covered under warranty I will update this review to let everyone know. I expect it to be completely covered by GE. If I had been upstairs for longer this oven would have started a house fire.

It™™s an okay stove if you want the basic of ranges. It™™s a no frills version of stove. It cooks fast and efficiently. I wish I had taken a closer look at its features I would have probably picked a different range with better features. But all in all it gets the job done. I love the black color because it shows less dirt or grease. Easy to clean.

The stove looks really nice from the front, but the sides are like they should be behind the cabinets. I had to change the stove to LP, and I got to see how cheap it was made when changing it out for LP.
The burner sizes are something I will have to get use too. I think it would have been better if the burners were all the same size. I bought this stove without seeing it online. I had to order and wait a month for the stove, and I should have waited till you could see it in the stores.

Very basic box. No extras. Tiny broiler on bottom. No clock, no timer. No beeps to tell you your preheat has reached its setting. Oven top racks a bit slippery so when stirring you must hold one handle of the pot so it doesn't slide off the burner.

I realize this is a basic model, but let's call it sub-par basic. No way to know once it's preheated? what?!?!?!?! And it runs 35' hotter than it should in the exact middle, and 50' hotter on the sides. Let's face it, that is way below basic. My last was a GE and was perfect, should have had the old thing repaired.

This range is the most basic one you can get. Literally no bells and whistles. It has a light in the oven. The shiny coating on the grates is nice. Makes clean up easy. No clock, no timer, one broiler setting. Nothing digital which is a drawer for some. Sadly, costs what a really nice one would have 5 years ago.

It's a pretty great little stove the only reason I give it four stars out of five is that it doesn't come with a clock built in. Works perfectly fine for absolutely everything and it's really easy to clean.

The stove is a plain Jane one and was easily convertible for propane which is what we needed for off-grid living. As mentioned in several of the reviews, the grills are very slick and care should be taken when cooking as pans slide very easily. Cast iron would be much safer but add to the cost and weight. Also, it comes without a broiler pan which needs to be purchased separately.
I have used it only once, so my review is based on cooking on the burners only.

I threw away my 3200$ 2 year old LG stove for this and it™™s so much better. Nice even heating clean sleek simple stove. No digital display to keep cleaning and changing the clock. Oven heats fast this stove is a 10/10 better than any major brand stove I™™ve bought.

Sleek black finish - cleaned with glass plus. The gas jet is a very small opening which helps with cleaning. The dial is not hard to use, especially after noticing the jet setting!
