The convenience of having 2 separate ovens is great. The ovens heat up quickly and bake food as expected. BUT, within a week of purchasing one of the burners had a fault and made the 'hot cooktop' light stay on. Then, just after the warranty expired another burner stopped working completely. 2 repairs within 13 months doesn't scream quality.

how to replace after 3 years. Glass top has multiple cracks in different places not connected. Nothing was dropped on it. I would have to guess it is just very thin glass. The cost to replace is over 900.00. I paid a lot money for this and expected it to last for quite some time. I have a double oven flat top electric range and am now looking at other option to replace it. I would have thought GE would have stood behind their product. I was wrong.

Replacement with the same model after 15 years

I purchased the range to replace the same model after 15 years of use,and that would be heavy use, as my wife is a professional pastry chef with over 30 years in the profession. We had one issue after the 1st few years that was made worse by the service department of where I purchased it. The problem was with the control panel and not what they told me to replace behind it. So I ended up fixing it myself with a new control touch panel. After 15 years it still works with minimal issues- touch panel is still hard to operate and the center of the large burner doesn't work. Otherwise it's still working fine. All of the black lettering on the stove controls are gone after cleaning over it so much. I noted that the new model the lettering is also etched in so I hope the labels hold up.

The stove top is designed so that certain spots have the two burner sizes, giving you the option of selecting the size that fits the pot you are cooking with. The stove top also has a warmer. In addition, we love that this range has 2 ovens, making it convenient when preparing multiple dishes for a large gathering.

Terrible oven

We just moved into our newly built home. The first week, the stove works without any trouble. This week, we turned on the convectional oven to warm it up. The oven smoked and burned without any food being cooked. We called Lowe's, they said since we have the oven for 2 weeks now, there is nothing they can do. We have to call GE to get it fixed. We called GE, got redirected by the voicemail to a repair line. They are closed in the weekend. No one wants to help.

Very disappointed in this oven! We™€™ve had it for right about two years and the large double burner on the right side has gone out twice. So sad because we paid quite a bit for this and for it to only last a little over a year for the first burner and now we™€™re right at two years and the same burner has gone out again. The burners for the 12 inch are quite costly and that™€™s very frustrating to only have had it for a short time and having this many issues with it.

I love having a double oven stove. So far, I've only used the baking in both ovens and the burners, and they work great. I haven't used the air fryer or convection oven yet but I will soon. Also, I went with the GE Brand, because my other stove I just got rid of, was GE, and I bought it in 2006, and it still worked, but I wanted to upgrade, so I stuck with the same Brand.

Inconsistent temperatures for stove top and ovens!

I purchased this GE range in March 2025, and I feel compelled to share my experience because this oven is simply not worth the money. As someone who works professionally in commercial food service appliance repair and maintenance, I have a lot of experience with this type of equipment. Unfortunately, both the stovetop burners and the ovens have temperature control issues. The thermostats are completely out of calibration. I had a Bodewell technician come out to diagnose the problem. He replaced the front left burner and the thermostat for the top oven. Unfortunately, it made no difference™€¦the temperature problems continued(control board issue). Because of these issues, I now have to constantly monitor food in the oven the entire cooking time to prevent it from burning or, worse, not cooking thoroughly. What used to be an enjoyable part of my day has become stressful and frustrating. I genuinely dread using this range. If I hadn™€™t spent so much money on this one I would buy a new one to replace this thing. I will say that Bodewell™€™s customer service was excellent. The technician was professional, knowledgeable, and did everything he could to help. It™€™s disappointing to see that GE, a brand that once stood for quality and reliability, has fallen so far. For the premium price I paid, I expected this range to perform significantly better than the older models I™€™ve owned in the past. If you™€™re in the market for a new range and can afford other options, I would strongly recommend looking at Frigidaire instead, their products have been far more reliable in my experience

The ovens are not deep enough to place full baking sheets in vertically which is best for baking two pans at a time. Also, the steam clean feature is ABSOLUTELY useless!! Good range with great features but for $1300 you would think they could furnish you with a paper copy of the User Manual. Customer service says they stopped providing paper manuals in 10/22 because you can get it online now . What if you live somewhere with no or limited internet service! Apparently they have never tried to simultaneously use their range while searching a detailed PDF on your phone. The paper manual probably saves GE/Haier a dollar or two. For a list price of $ 299.99 I think they could squeeze in a cheap paper manual without throwing themselves into bankruptcy!!! Had they included the manual or at least offered to mail me one when I called customer service I would have given it 5 stars.

The double oven works great along with the air fry option. We have a large family so we use the oven and range several times a day. The interface is easy to understand and I like the combination of buttons and knobs. The range top worked well for 2 years and 7 months but then one of the main burners started malfunctioning. We had white stuff on the burner after only a few times using it. I only used water to clean. Famous Tates could not help me, but a rep did. I ordered something to use so hoping that works. Stove is a month old.b
